According to the information in the German
heraldic books by Siebmacher,
Volume V, the following is noted under the name Klimisch:
KLIMISCH - an an old German citizen family of the 14th century, a native of the district of Hamburg.
It is documented that in the year 1689, the lieutenant, freedom fighter, and patriot, Wilhelm Emmanuel Klimisch, was decorated with the service-order 1st Class, and the great Coat of Arms in parchment paper from the Prussian Royal House for his best services for the country.
During the freedom fights against the Danish occupation troops, Wilhelm E. Klimisch had fought with bravery and courage by Flensburg and had brought a great victory for his country.
Decendents of this familly emigrated in the following generations to the Netherlands, Canada, and America.
SHIELD: A frontal gap shield with a black shield shadow. The shield is split up. In the left side in the color of silver, a black eagle with decorations; in the right side in the color of red, a green stands with gold ears as symbolic of the clear character, bravery, courage, love to the country, fruitfulness, constancy, helpfulness, and noble virtue.
SHIELD DECORATION: In the colors of dark red, green and silver, a gothic shield decoration, framing the helmet and the shield.
HELMET: A side frontal helmet in the color of grey with red observation slits, a gold decoration, a black shoulderband and dark red arm decoration.
MAIN DECORATION: Over a banner in the colors of gold and red is a wing decoration in the color of black with dark red decoration as a symbol of liberty.
